Job Description

    You will be joining a renowned Japanese multinational information technology (IT) service and consulting company based in Tokyo, Japan. The company has recently acquired Italy-based Value Team S.p.A. and introduced Global One Teams. This is a vibrant and impactful firm where you can elevate your career to new heights!We are currently seeking a skilled SAP BASIS professional with 6 to 8 years of experience. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical expertise in HANA, DB2 & Oracle Administration. The work location for this role is in Chennai only, following a hybrid mode with 2 days per week on-site.Your responsibilities will include demonstrating strong Basis technical knowledge, hands-on experience in Installation, Upgrade, and Support of Global SAP Systems. You should have worked with various SAP Products such as ECC, BW, APO, Live cache, CRM, PI/PO, Portal, BOBJ, BODS, Fiori, Content Server, and Solution Manager. Additionally, experience in Operating Systems like SUSE Linux/AIX and Windows is required.Key tasks will involve system admin activities like performance monitoring/tuning, transports, background job setup, applying support packages, kernel upgrades, OSS notes, printer setup, client copy, system refresh activities, etc. Proficiency in HANA, DB2 & Oracle Administration and troubleshooting is essential.
