Job Description

    • Job Title: SAP Basis Consultant
    • Location: Chennai
    • Experience: 4-12 years
    We are looking for a skilled SAP Basis Consultant to join our team in Chennai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the SAP landscape, ensuring system availability, performance, and security. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement, configure, and support SAP systems.Key Responsibilities:
    1. Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and Solution Manager.
    2. Perform SAP system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
    3. Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
    4. Troubleshoot and resolve SAP system issues, coordinating with technical and functional teams.
    5. Implement and maintain SAP security measures, user roles, and authorizations.
    6. Collaborate with infrastructure and database teams to ensure seamless integration with SAP systems.
    7. Conduct system backups, disaster recovery planning, and system copy activities.
    8. Stay updated on the latest SAP Basis technologies and best practices.
    Requirements:
    1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    2. 4-12 years of experience as an SAP Basis Consultant.
    3. Strong expertise in SAP Basis administration, installation, and configuration.
    4. Experience with SAP system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
    5. Knowledge of SAP security principles, user management, and authorizations.
    6. Familiarity with SAP HANA database administration is desirable.
    7. Solid understanding of SAP landscape architecture and integration.
    8. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
