    • Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis of complex tasks.
    • Work with Design Engineer, Project Engineer and Project Manager on required tasks.
    • Must understand how proposed architectural changes will impact the customers business.
    • Take ownership of assigned tasks.
    • Work with enterprise security device vendors to resolve complex incidents.
    • Should be able to use vendor provided tools, log files, Verizon provided tools/scripts.
    • Attend regular incident calls, review and understanding of documented processes, ability to update process documents, provide peer-to-peer training and interaction with high level Verizon and customer managers
    • Participate in Change Management and Capacity Management process.
    • Assist other Tier2 engineers in complex tasks.
    • Required to perform monthly checks of device operations to include.
    • Create, distribute, analyze and evaluate network management performance reports.
    • Create and present Root Cause Analysis (RCA) document when requested.
    • Participate in audit and compliance assessments performed internally.
    Where youll be working. In this hybrid role, youll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.What we re looking for.You ll need to have:
    • Bachelor s degree or four or more years of work experience.
    • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
    • Experience in working with Security Products in Physical & Cloud environment.
    • Knowledge ofPalo Alto, CISCO ASA, Fortigate, SDWAN-Versa firewalls.
    • Knowledge ofF5 load balancer LTM/GTM/APM.
    • Knowledge ofZscaler & Bluecoat proxy.
    • Experience working in 24x7 centers with complex.
    Even better if you have one ormore of the following:
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a team player.
    • Knowledge & hands on for Cisco ISE, Infoblox, VPN Gateways, IPS, IDS, Authentication Devices.
    • CCNP/CCIE Security.
    • Broad range of familiarity with principles, theories, concepts and technologies.
    • Effectively interface with internal & external stakeholders.
    • Palo Alto Essential/Advanced Certification/s.
    • Cisco Security Essential/Advanced Certification/s.
    • F5 Essential/Advanced Certification/s.
    • Fortinet NSE.
    • ITIL Certification.
    • Proxy Essential/Advanced Certifications (BlueCoat, ZScaler).
    • Cisco Network certification(s).
