Job Description

    We are seeking to hire an experienced candidate for Senior Accountant position to join our team to manage and control financial and accounting operations of our jewellery showroom.First preference for Gold jewellery background accounting experienced candidate.Responsibilities: Thorough knowledge of accounting standards invoice generation, purchase entry, sales entry, GST Filing, TDS filing. Prepare financial statements, general ledger accounts, and records for accuracy and completeness. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. Bank Reconciliation Statement-BRS, Day to Day transaction entries,Paymet process Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals. providing ongoing accounts related training, and maintaining strong bond with the Team Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, experience with other financial systems. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization Analyze financial information, identify trends, and make recommendations to management. Develop and maintain financial models to forecast cash flow, revenue, and expenses. Monitor the companys taxes and assist in filing tax returns. Oversee payroll functions and ensure compliance with applicable laws. Ensure accurate and timely payment of vendors and suppliers. Monitor inventory levels and manage inventory control procedures. Assist in developing annual budgets and long-term financial plans. Coordinate audits with external auditors.
