Job Description

  • Assisting the Analytics Development Manager with managing and implementing technical solutions on websites and mobile applications
  • Managing analytics tagging, developing tagging guides, custom code needed to support tags, ETL processes and QA testing
  • Monitoring analytics tag deployments within the Tag Management System (TMS)
  • Creating solutions for analytics implementation on new frameworks or architecture
  • Serving as a technical contact and internal SME for Adobe Analytics tagging implementation requests
  • Ensuring data capture is consistent and accurate
  • Involved in Testing, validating and solving tagging and tracking issues as they occur, and also communicating status or next steps until resolution with all relevant partners
  • Take ownership of the existing tag management process as well as contribute to continuous improvement
  • Identifying and documenting standard methodologies to be followed in the tag management process
  • Creating and maintaining technical tagging documentation
  • Managing administration, tag governance and compliance of standard methodology guidelines for platform integrations and consistent data flow
Required Professional and Technical Expertise
  • 3-6 years of development experience in tag management tools such as Adobe DTM or Google Tag Management
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics implementation and with a tag management solution.
  • Demonstrable ability to review existing tagging and implement new tags based on requirements
  • Expertise in understanding of client-side analytics tracking method, which is front-end collection and governance and how that data is then used downstream to influence strategy and decision-making
  • Savvy with respect to technical concepts and workflows that underpin digital analytics, such as debugging tools (i.e. HTTPWatch, Fiddler, Ghostery, Google Tag Assistant, Charles or Firebug), first- vs third-party cookies and data encryption
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
  • Knowledge of in-app tracking tools such as Appsflyer and tag and cookie governance using Observepoint
  • Working knowledge of jQuery and CSS
  • Exposure to engagements focused on Data and Advanced Business Analytics
  • You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
