Job Description

Responsibilities

Migration of Application and Databases servers from Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2016

Active Directory Infrastructure Administration, Application/system support in a .NET environment

OS Upgrade from Windows 2008 to Windows 2016

Data Center Migration of Physical Servers to Virtual Servers P2V using VMware Converter

Hot and Cold cloning of Virtual Machines using VMware vCenter Converter

Server deployments using virtual templates

Moving virtual server to different host using VMotion

Creating and managing Virtual Machines, Templates, Clones, and Snapshots

Creating CIFS/NFS share; Adding/removing the security groups for share folders in CIFS, qtrees, quotas

Responsible for the operation and administration of IIS web servers across Engineering, QA, and Production environments; .Net application support and integration with IIS

Working with the business units to design, plan, and implement critical applications into a Development, QA, and Production environment

Installing deploy patches related to OS Application

Deploying client configuration and good understanding of Sophos Antivirus and application monitoring

Ability to write scripts using win batch, batch files, VB script language, Power Shell; analyzing memory dumps

Required Skills

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or any other relevant field
