This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role Responsibilities Undertake requirements solicitation from stakeholders/end users and turn into well-formed formal requirements Perform AS-IS/TO-BE process mapping Undertake data analysis as required in order to validate/challenge and refine requirements Partner with the wider technology team to ensure solution definition meets requirements and is delivered with accuracy and quality Stakeholder management across Sales, Product Management, Technology and Operations Adherence to standards mandated by SCB for project analysis and delivery Introduce industry best practices, tools, techniques, processes and methodologies which bring clear benefit Manage keys risks and issues as they arise with timely escalation when requiredOur Ideal CandidateA business analyst is required to lead and execute analysis streams across the Custody & Clearing domain and Fund Services domain for SCB Securities Services Technology. The successful candidate should Be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of Securities services domain including Securities Lending, Custody, Settlements and Clearing, Corporate actions, Fund Services and others. have a proven track record in leading and performing business analysis using the right tools and techniques. have a good understanding of related technology applications which service the domain in addition to operational processes.Requirements: Good understanding of the various areas of Securities services domain including Securities Lending, Custody, Settlements and Clearing, Corporate actions, Fund Services and others. Excellent knowledge of custody, settlements and clearing processes, fund services processes both technology applications and operational processes Minimum 5 years BA experience in similar domain/environment Working knowledge of some of the systems like TCS Bancs Custody / Corporate Actions, Multifonds Fund Administration and Transfer Agency, SWIFT messaging and standards is desirable Experience of strategic change, working with business and technology stakeholders to define and execute operational strategy Requirements Analysiso Consistently captures requirements that are complete & unambiguous.o Accurately translates business requirements into functionality.o Consistently identifies future states that address business problems. Effective Business Writing:o Prepares high quality documentation (e.g. BRDs & Functional Specifications, Minutes, etc) that are clear and concise, haveo minimal errors or omissions Negotiation & Influencing Skills:o Uses a combination of direct and indirect influencing techniques, where appropriate, to ensure support.o Effectively applies skills and techniques of negotiating, including understanding other party s needs and agendas. Facilitation Skills: Able to use a variety of techniques to encourage contributions from all stake-holders. Stakeholder Managemento Ensures stakeholders are aware of and committed to their responsibilities to the project.o Can undertake stakeholder analysis and develop plans for managing relationships and expectations.o Comfortable in dealings with senior managers; can exert influence.o Contributes actively to the Project Steering processes.,
