netJob Title: Senior EngineerLocation: TRIL GTC Chennai GCL: D1Job SummaryFunction/Team Collaboration Services reside in the Infrastructure organization in AZ IT under End User Services.The team is responsible for the following areas of IT:

  • Document storage and Workflow services
  • Microsoft Office 365 (Mail, Mail-Security, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Forms, Power Automate etc.)
  • Box.com, Nintex, DocuSign etc.
  • Mail, Calendar and Unified Communications
  • Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams etc.), Exchange on-premise & Email Gateway.
  • Skype for Business 2015 On-premise server
  • Sonus SBC Gateways
  • Third-party applications: Verba, EICC & Acano
The Collaboration Services Specialist will assist with the design, development, implementation and support of AstraZeneca IT Infrastructure technology. The role holder will be involved in analyzing requirements, implementing components of solutions as well as supporting solution enhancements and maintenance, which may require a close collaboration with third party suppliers. The Collaboration Services Specialist will adhere to the established AstraZeneca lifecycle methodology and practices. This may include maintaining program libraries and technical documentation of individual components within solutions.Job DescriptionRole and Responsibilities
  • Develops technical expertise and provide inputs as required with project teams working on the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of IT Infrastructure Operations solutions.
  • Provides support in reviewing technical designs and ensuring adherence to the AZ Architecture Roadmap, Information Services Strategy and High-Level Designs, as well as regulatory requirements & standards by working closely with Architecture & Engineering (A&E) team.
  • Implement any new services that arethe validated by A&E team by following the ITIL V3 principles
  • Assists in the preparation of business cases, Request for Proposals, supplier selection and evaluation of proposals
  • Assists more senior employees or peers in defining infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with the target benefits and value expected
  • Assists in the design, development, configuration and documentation of infrastructure components
  • Provides support with performance analysis and document solution components
  • Gathers and collates management reporting information on existing infrastructure solutions and services
  • Performs maintenance and support activities, routine analysis and evaluation on resource requirements necessary to maintain and/or expand service levels
  • Support colleagues in the Operations team by providing any technical input. Also takes escalation from the Operations team whenever necessary & work closely with them.
  • Supports investigations of problems within existing solutions utilizing ITIL V3.0 principles
  • Must demonstrate the capability to identify and propose innovative solutions to improve service performance
  • To provide technical expertise to maintain Email Security environments,troubleshoot issues and handling email Security projects.
  • To provide solutions to assure compliance and security standards are being adhered to and technical objectives are being met.
  • Experience with Building, Engineering, and Implementing email gateway infrastructure.
  • Experience with the rollout, troubleshooting, and support of Email Gateway environment.
  • Experience in monitoring solutions for Email Gateway and Send Mail applications.
  • Experience in enhancing & customizing email-security solutions for emerging threats.
  • Should help businesses protect their data against security risks & prevent cyber-attacks.
  • Developing efficient strategies to protect the system, the networking infrastructure, data, and information systems against potential cyber risks
  • Should have experience in Mail delivery system, SPF, DKIM,DMARC, DNS configuration, Content filtering, TLS, handling Phishing & SPAM attacks
  • Assist with supporting Office 365 & Exchange On-Premise environment.
Essential Skills and experience
  • Higher education with demonstrated capability to perform in a complex IT environment
  • Prior experience in an Information Services/Information Technology environment with good business acumen
  • Experience in dealing with 3rd party suppliers
  • Experience in working within a quality and compliance environment and application of policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Knowledge in Overall O365 admin, Azure & Regular expressions, SIEM tools will be added advantage.
  • Evidence of designing, testing and maintaining solutions
  • Experience of sharing knowledge/ information and implementing any changes
  • PowerShell scripting, Python and C-Sharp
  • Well versed in ITIL V3.0 practices and process
  • Good communication skills supporting joint working with geographically remote colleagues
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and in alignment with AZ business
  • Good networking knowledge (will be an added advantage) as there will be requirements to work with Firewall/Network team
Desirable Skills and experience
  • Degree level education in computer science or similar
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of the external market
  • Demonstrate initiative, strong customer orientation, and cross-cultural working
