- Provide overall development leadership and direct product development teams in the delivery of high- quality products within committed time frames - Overall responsibility of planning, execution and delivery of developments/ enhancements as per the committed releases, dates and with expected quality levels - Work with Product Directors/ Product Managers/ Development Teams to estimate the work, agree on code drops and co- ordinate the alignment of code drop for project needs - Co- ordinate through the various teams and stakeholders for all delivery activities across layers and verticals and act as the escalation point for all development issues specific to enhancements - Identify and manage risk with appropriate response planning securing project commitments - Ensure Scope changes are captured and impacts identified and managed - Utilize and update internal systems on delivery management in a timely manner, thus ensure timely status reporting - Ensure 100% compliance to Quality and Release Processes - Participate, as required, in steering committee meetings, senior executive meetings and other such events Ability to manage Maintenance support effectively, allocate and deliver fixes within agreed SLAs & dates: - Ensure allocation of defect fixes as per priority - Coordinate on different activities (Analysis, Design, Coding, Code Review, Testing, Regression & Integration), ensuring the fixes are delivered on time and within SLA - Provide necessary and periodic updates / fix dates to the Support Management Team Ability to carry out Resource and Work Allocation : - Operational management of development resources - Responsible for the overall planning of the resources based on project demands - Manage allocation of resources to various tasks - Effective utilization of resources and control overrun and support - Responsible to do the succession planning for critical resources - Skills management and career management of resources Please read our Recruitment Privacy Policy,
