  • We are currently looking for a talented, experienced, and passionate developer within the Enterprise Monitoring Engineering team who can help drive our global Enterprise Monitoring Transformation program and strategy across the bank.
  • The Enterprise Monitoring Engineering team is responsible for defining and engineering the monitoring strategy across the bank, covering all aspects of monitoring including infrastructure, networks and applications.
The Role ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will have several years of experience working in a large organisation and will have demonstrated their ability to build and deliver projects on an enterprise scale, with experience of UI/UX design and implementation.The candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers to deliver an internal portal which customers use to manage monitoring related data.The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Design and delivery of web-based portal for management and visualisation of monitoring data
  • Integration with other internal and external applications through API and Webhook frameworks
  • Design and delivery of data store to manage internally published and collected data
  • Integration with DevOps pipeline, providing fully automated delivery, including guidance to other team members on best DevOps practices
  • Development of strategy to align with customer and stakeholder requirements
The solution should be built to meet customer requirements and comply with internal policies and standards. Whilst part of a bigger team, the candidate would need to be self-sufficient and engage other teams to drive any projects forwards, ensure management are kept informed of any blockers or delays at the appropriate time.This candidate would be expected to manage the end to end delivery, from capturing high level requirements from our customers, all the way through to handover of the finished solution to our production support team, working closely with other teams throughout to ensure there is a common view of the project.As well as having a solid technical background, the candidate would need to work closely with internal teams and stakeholders and be able to present technical solutions to others at various levels in the organisation. They would also provide clear documentation and assistance to drive the delivery and adoption of the solutions. Our Ideal CandidateEssential Skills
