Are you ready to bring the right energy to Petrofac and help us deliver a better future for everyone JOB TITLE: SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform and check routine electrical calculations such as Cable sizing, Transformer sizing, Earthing. etc. Perform and check SLDs, metering and protection SLD, Interconnection wiring schedule. Perform and check Electrical equipment Specification and Data sheets. Perform and check Material requisition, TBE and purchase requisition to support procurement activities. Review vendor documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution. Understand / review the Plant design (lighting, small power, earthing, lightning protection system, Equipment layout, F&G systems). Able to review / challenge the Electrical protection co-ordination studies prepared by Specialist agencies with regards to Contract requirements. Supervise and lead a team of engineers and designers in home office and Engineering Center (EC) carrying out detailed engineering work for large size projects. Participate in Contract Review process and provide required inputs to Lead Engineer. Interact with other discipline within Petrofac as well as with Client, Original equipment manufacturers, Sub-contractors as and when required in close consultation with the lead. Review all key documents before issue and ensure that all systems are in place for preparation of engineering documents. Review engineering problems and guide the team in selecting safe, efficient, and economical solutions. Participate in Design Reviews, SAFOP, constructability reviews on need basis.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering. 10~15 years of overall experience with min. qualification bachelor s degree in electrical. Proficiency in AVEVA Electrical for preparation of electrical deliverables like Electrical Load list, Data sheet, Single line diagram, Cable schedule, Cable tray / trench routing layout, Electrical material take-off (MTO), earthing, lighting, equipment layout. etc. is a must. Detail design engineering related experience preferably from a background in working for consultancy organizations or EPC for large petrochemical or for the Oil and Gas Industry. Possess good knowledge of Shell DEP and other international codes IEC, BS, IEEE. Shall possess ability to grasp other international standards and Client specifications as demanded by work.Additional Information,
