Job Description

    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Organization of off-road drive evaluation Contribute to Fresh Eye reviews of Futuring & Gap Analysis work with respect to 4WD systems Global competition analysis and futuring for all new vehicle programs involving 4WD systems Conduct detailed vehicle evaluations of 4x4 capabilities of competitior vehicles and identify areas of improvements Collect off-road vehicle reviews and maintain data base for all competition vehicles. 4WD system testing and objective data measurement Lead creation of testing standards and procedures for off-road vehicle evaluation (DVP development) Hardware selection and finalization for 4x4 systems Root cause analysis and resolution plan for field failures, validation/Reliability Growth Analysis concerns and closure in 4WD systems Interface with CoEs and deliver 4x4 / AWD projects Create and implement roadmap for 4x4 technology Conduct 4X4 Customer experience events and media engagement programs Support design and development of prototypes and demonstrate extreme off-road capability Experience 6 to 8 years Industry Preferred Any other automotive OEM and R&D Qualifications BE/Btech Mechanical/Automobile Engineering 4 Wheeler driving skill and Government approved driving licence is mandatoryFunctional DescriptionNovice Vehicle Evaluator.(Expert Off-road driving skills) Vehicle Sub Systems understanding. Understands New Product Development Process. 4WD system functioning and development knowledge- Transfer Case, Differential Locks, Terrain Response systems, axles and suspension General Requirements Good communication, Customer engagement skills & Good team player Adaptable: Able to adapt oneself to new surroundings; to make suitable change so as to fit new conditions.
