Job Description

    Dear Candidate,Greeting of the day!Experience : 10-12 yrsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : Degree/Post graduation in Chemical EngineeringDisciplines from recognized college/universityThorough knowledge of industry and international standards andtheir applications. Must have good verbal and written communicationskillsConversant with MS office and Process Software (e.g HYSYS, HTRI,FLARENET, PIPE NET)Must have minimum 8- 10 years of relevant experience in oil and gasindustryResponsibilities / Competence :The Discipline Process Engineer is responsible for:Executing the assigned activities (e.g. familiarization of project requirements, verifying design basis, preparation of data sheets, , review and comment of other discipline deliverables, incorporating vendor information in deliverables) in accordance with all technical, quality, contractual and execution aspects of the project as per the instructions of the Discipline Lead Engineer of the ProjectDevelopment of Process Simulation using simulation softwareReview and verify PFD & P&IDReview Equipment sizing, Line Sizing ,Relief Valve Sizing Calculations,Review of Process datasheets for Mechanical Equipments and InstrumentsReview of SAFE Chart & Cause and Effect DiagramsInvolving in HAZID and HAZOP activitiesKeeping the Discipline Lead Engineer informed on the status of activities assignedEnsuring required flow of design information to the other members of the Design TeamSubmitting all the documents prepared to the Lead Engineer for review / approval.Review Vendor documents as per Project requirementsChoosing the best solution from technical / economical point of viewIssue the quality forms according to QA systems of the project and companyImplementing corrective actions according to the QA systems of the project and companyConduct site visit to gather data and to verify designParticipate in coordination meetings with other disciplines and with client and with suppliersParticipate /assume leading role in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).Attend training when nominated for such courses and keep abreast of trends in the industryDeputize for Lead Process Engineer when required Impart knowledge to trainee engineersContribute to discipline and company knowledge baseRegardsTeam HR
