Job Description

  • Integrate data across internal and external sources provide analytical insights and integrate with our critical systems
  • Participate in the agile development process
  • Develop functional and technical specifications from business requirements for the commercial platform
  • Ensure application quality and adherence to performance requirements
  • Knowledge of Financial Accounting is a bonus
  • Work independently with cross functional team and drive towards the resolution
SkillsHadoop Framework, Hive Architecture, HDFS, Scala, Spark, Pyspark, Kafka, SQL and UnixQualificationBachelor/Master degree in Computer Science Engineering, Mathematics or related.ExperienceMust have experience with:
  • Extracting data from a variety of sources, and a desire to expand those skills (working knowledge SQL is required, Spark is a required)
  • Excellent Data Analysis skills. Must be comfortable with querying and analysing large amount of data on Hadoop HDFS using Hive and Spark
  • Knowledge of Financial Accounting is a plus
  • Working independently with cross functional team and drive towards the resolution
  • Object oriented programming using python and its design patterns
  • Handling Unix systems, for optimal usage to host enterprise web applications
  • Strong Knowledge on Hive/Spark
  • Knowledge on Sqoop/Kafka/Apache Nifi etc.
  • Good programming skills on Scala/Python/Java
  • Good knowledge on writing Hive/Spark SQL
