Job Description

  • Supplier Design Assessment and Part Development Support: Translates customer / sets target needs in end product solutions maintaining a balance between cost, quality and timeline
  • Should have Domain knowldege and experience of Hydraulics and transmission architecture selection.
  • To comprehend technical issues in the areas of design and technically steer the team towards success
  • challenges & encourages teams to identify and implement value engineering opps to optimize transmission costs
  • Enables teams and provides perspectives on technologies integration into the transmission and sub systems.
  • Should have Cost & Timeline control
  • Hands on experience on UG Hydraulic components selection and Design of shift system, housing.
  • Over-all transmisison and transmission Sub-systems and Components Design: Keeps pace with emerging trends and related application.
  • Automated Manual Transmission and Dual Clutch Transmission DESIGN knowledge added advantage
  • Knowledge on Tranmsission Actuaion System
  • 3D modelling and 2D drg preperation
  • Strong fundamentals of GD&T and Tolerance stack up analysis
  • Knowledge of tolerance stack-up of complex assemblies
  • Should be able to interpret CAE / CFD results for required corrective actions
  • Ability to Absorb latest Technology and forming basis for up-coming Projects.
  • Liasioning/Networking skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Openness to work in dynamic and demanding work conditions
