Job Description

    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Ensure the CAD Design release as per project timeline Preparation of BOM. Benchmarking of competitions vehicle for features, ergonomics & Weight optimization. Design adherence to Performance, Quality Cost and weight and deliver on time. Provide Design feasibility to Styling by preparing multiple part proposals for improving part quality and interface. Preparation of DCS & Support PPT for Reviews Conduct DFMEA sessions. Do the preliminary Tooling feasibility of parts with tool direction definition, parting line & Slider/ Lifter construction. Data releases for Vendor on Board, CAE & to Suppliers for Feasibility. Release of 3D models in Team center /PLM systems with related Quality checks. Perform the DMU, Assembly and Service study on designs Provide 3D CATIA models with GD &T Annotations CAD Design proposals in consultation with internal, external (Supplier) experts. Support to CFT teams for part development, Cost saving and quality initiatives. Resolution of build related issues along with proper analysis Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the job General Competencies General Requirements B.E./ B.Tech (mechanical, Automoblie) Experience 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Interior Trims Industry Preferred Automotive Qualifications Diploma, Graduate in Mechanical EngineeringJob Segment: Engineer, Construction, Drafting, CAD, Engineering, Automotive ,
