Responsibilities:1. Be able to handle New Product Development activities including, but not limited to - Concept Design, Detailed Design, Testing and Qualification and Phase Documentation.2. Electrical Safety / Electrical Energy domain knowledge / experience would be preferred.3. Prepare 3D models, drawings and specifications for the respective product line including document control.4. Manufacturing facilities & Testing Fixture establishment (e.g Pull off test fixture,Short-circuiting etc)5. Understanding of relevant standards and deriving product and test specification.6. Handle request for Samples7. Catalog / leaflet updating.8. Assist in relevant Plant layout & machinery arrangementsRequirements:1. A Graduate Degree in field of Mechanical Engineering shall be considered.2. Minimum 2 year to Maximum 5 year experience in Design.3. Understanding of DFSS, engineering calculation is preferred.4. Knowledge of Domain relevant EN / IEC standards will be an advantage.5. Well versed in 3D Modelling, Pro-E & AutoCAD6. Strong Analytical & Problem solving Skills.7. Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills.8. Experience in Manufacturing Organization (Preferred)9. Ability to work under pressure situations.10. Working Knowledge on Microsoft Office Suite.11. Good to Have : Corel Draw, Photoshop, KeyShot knowledgePreferred candidates residing at Tambaram, Chrompet, MM Nagar, SP Koil (On GST) / SRP Tools,Kelambakkam, Tiruporrur (On OMR) vicinity
