Ltd.Department: Finance & AccountsLocation:Vanagaram , Chennai , Tamil NaduReporting To: Finance Manager / Accounts HeadJob SummaryThe Senior Finance Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, timely statutory compliance, vendor payments, billing control, and coordination with internal departments. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and financial reporting to support smooth business operations at Homegenie.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance Operations
    • Manage day-to-day accounting activities including entries, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations.
    • Maintain accurate books of accounts as per company policies and statutory requirements.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
    Billing & Receivables
    • Oversee customer billing, invoicing, and collection tracking.
    • Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding receivables and resolve billing discrepancies.
    • Coordinate with sales and operations teams for billing accuracy.
    Accounts Payable & Vendor Management
    • Process vendor bills and ensure timely payments as per agreed terms.
    • Perform vendor reconciliation and resolve payment-related issues.
    • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for invoice validation.
    GST & Statutory Compliance
    • Handle GST compliance including returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliation, and filings.
    • Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory inspections.
    • Support TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances as applicable.
    Banking & Cash Management
    • Manage bank transactions, reconciliations, and fund planning.
    • Monitor cash flow and ensure optimum utilization of funds.
    • Coordinate with banks for payments, statements, and queries.
    Audit & Reporting
    • Assist in internal and external audits.
    • Ensure timely submission of audit-related data and explanations.
    • Support management with financial analysis and cost control initiatives.
    Coordination & Support
    • Work closely with internal departments such as Sales, Procurement, Production, HR, and Admin.
    • Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
    • Ensure adherence to internal controls and SOPs.
    Qualifications & SkillsEducation
    • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
    • CA-Inter / CMA-Inter preferred.
    Experience
    • 4 - 7 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
    • Experience in manufacturing / building materials industry preferred.
    Skills
    • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and GST.
    • Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel.
    • Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
