Job Description

    Unravel is on the mission to radically simplify modern DataOps. It simplifies the way data teams monitor, observe, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance and spend utilization of large-scale modern data applications. Unravel s AI-based platform also accelerates data migration to the cloud by providing migration assessments with actionable insights.
    • Design and architecture, including non-functional requirements (failure handling, scalability, security, performance, availability, reliability)
    • Owned functionality in an enterprise product that customers actively used
    • Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure and Google Cloud architectures
    • Exposure to large enterprise customers
    • Exposure to work on the latest and greatest big data technologies
    • Design and implement a robust, scalable and highly available platform
    • Expertise in Java Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms
    • Good understanding of systems concepts (distributed systems, filesystems, databases, OS, auth/authz)
    • Experience in working on backend projects of enterprise products
    • Experience in working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Elastic-search and Zookeeper etc
    • Resolve customer issues found during the POCs and production deployments at the customer.
    • Implement new features, write unit tests and automated feature regression tests.
    • Participate in code reviews and design reviews of new features developed by the company
    • Good analytical and communication skills
    • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent from a reputable university.
    • Projects in security & networking a plus
