Always safe. Always Simple.The Role ResponsibilitiesStrategy / Business / Processes

  • Work with Lean sponsors to develop process improvement strategies for the vertical(s)
  • Lead and execute change management activities (from current to future state)
    • Develop/lead Transformation Planning for targeted improvement areas
    • Identify opportunities for improvement, measure and record results.
  • Create business cases for the right sponsorship to drive improvement activities and establish financial and non-financial project goals on timely basis.
  • Support business process and performance efficiencies
  • Lead projects through discovery, design and implementation to achieve group s strategic goals
  • Subject matter expertise in Lean Processing, and support functions (People, Quality, Technology)
  • Identify, share and proliferate best practices and perform other duties as assigned
  • Conduct regular governance and PSC forums to share progress, flag risk and escalations needs if any
  • Within area of responsibility analyse current work practices to identify areas for improvement and educate as to how to improve business processes. Devise and test solutions to roll out new ways of working
  • Participate in Lean health checks and go/no goes
  • Perform work place audits and streamlining processes within area of responsibility
  • Process mapping, value stream mapping, identifying inefficiencies in productivity and non value add processes
  • Recommend changes that can cut waste from operating procedures
  • Deploy appropriate methodologies to to solve problems. Ensure the escalation process for problem solving is effective
  • Demonstrate performance excellence behaviours within the business and champion performance excellence
  • Support the business in establishing best practice
  • Undertake continuous training and development
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems in BAU
  • Carry out time and motion studies to support productivity improvements and to reduce no of hand off / referrals
  • Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems
  • Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviours expected of them
  • Ensure an effective interface with other departmental staff is maintained
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve high process efficiency

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • 10+ years of experience in banking operations with strong leadership responsibilities.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Lean Six Sigma tools: DMAIC, SIPOC and process mapping, SIOP, Cpk,FMEA, SPSS, DOE, QFD, Control charts, Standardized work, etc.
  • Proficiency needed in IT applications such as MS-Excel, MS-PPT, MS-Word, MS- Visio, MS-Access etc.
  • Practical approach and hands-on work on the business process and lead by example
  • Demonstrate excellent project management skills and techniques e.g. work breakdown structure, critical path analysis, network analysis, Pareto, Gantt chart etc.
  • Analytical problem solving skill: identify problems; apply structured and disciplined methodology to identify root cause analysis, etc.
