Job Description

A Business control role, supporting the Technology teams/app managers in monitoring and managing various risk programs across Application Governance, Information Security, Disaster Recovery and Regulatory Controls & Compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with key Technology Managers to monitor and manage various risk programs across the firm
  • Proactively manage risk metrics (e.g. TOM Tool dashboard) focus on at risk or exceeding threshold risks work with technology management to address root causes and remediate as required
  • Support technology teams in supporting firm-wide risk programs (i.e. delivering requested artefacts, verify completeness / accuracy)
  • Partner with technology teams in the execution of Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSA)
  • Understand and assist in the Disaster Recovery process and procedures
  • Understand key systems including Frame, CPT (Continuity Planning Tool), BTConverge etc.; GIS dashboards and metrics
  • Coordination with Technology Management in monitoring the execution, collection and completion of SOX control activities
  • Partner with Technology Management and internal audit to identify, document and report self-identified audit issues
  • Provide support to Technology Management on all phases of audit activities and ensure active engagement with technology management to meet audit objectives. In addition, assist management in the validation of preliminary audit issues and the creation of remediation plans
  • Partner with Technology Management in the execution of quality assurance programs ensure completeness of data and identify and monitor required remediation activities
  • Facilitation and coordination of work in relation to Audit. Work closely with the BCMR teams to understand and document current and upcoming audit events
  • Production of monthly Audit deck to review with management team.

Requirements

  • Education: B.E./ B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
  • Certifications If Any: NA
  • Experience Range: 9 - 12 yrs

Mandatory Skill:

  • Experience in the execution of Technology Risk assessments, Audits and SOX testing
  • Solid understanding of a risk control framework (i.e. inherent risks, control procedures, residual risk etc.)
  • Ability to identify relevant key risk indicators to measure risk exposures (metrics reporting)
  • Ability to create executive level reporting
  • Knowledge of Global Markets is desirable
  • Strong presentation skills and able to tailor communication to suit the audience
  • Key Applications skills Required: PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Visio
  • Ability to pull together decks and process flows
  • Desired skills:
