Job Description

Job SummarySenior Manager SAP FICO for a world leading Pharmaceutical company which operates in over 100 countries and is head quartered in the United Kingdom. The candidate is expected to lead a team of functional consultants for a large SAP Application Maintenance and Application Development projects, spanning several SAP landscapes across continents.The candidate should possess broad functional knowledge in Finance domain and in-depth technical knowledge in SAP FICO module. The candidate should have proven expertise in leading functional teams for large SAP support and maintenance programs.Job DescriptionRole and Responsibilities

  • As a team leader, will be responsible for development of the team and accountable for meeting the delivery targets set by management.
  • Accountable for ensuring that delivery is within and better than prescribed SLA levels and establishing processes for continuous service improvement.
  • Should be able to envisage opportunities for business value addition and get it implemented by the team.
  • Responsible for liaising with business users and ensuring that their issues/concerns are promptly addressed by the team.
Required Skills and experience
  • Expertise in the respective business domain and SAP functional area.
  • Ability to guide and lead a team through challenges faced in highly customized SAP environments.
  • Ability to understand and support integration with Non SAP systems.
  • Must have significant experience of working in a multi partner scenario and a cross- culture environment.
  • Detailed understanding of business processes in the life sciences / pharmaceutical domain.
  • Experience of working in Solution Manager methodologies
  • Should be able to execute end to end Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes based on ITIL framework and also set new processes as per the requirement.
  • Should have experience in a validated environment and aware of GXP and SOX requirements.
  • Must have good knowledge of Release Management, Incident Management and Problem Management processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Well versed in English. Excellent spoken and written skills.
  • A good team leader with proven experience in stakeholder management.
  • Ability to guide and mentor team members.
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Able to grasp and understand new technological trends / concepts
  • Experience working in globally distributed team.
