Analyse issues escalated by the Tier- 1 team Design and develop solutions for the issues assigned the solution could be a simple workaround or a simple to moderate complexity code fix Write and execute unit / integration tests cases where code fixes need to be deployed Prepare test procedures in conjunction with the Tier- 1 support & QA team. Support code deployments and help ensure smooth transition of code/ configuration fixes to the production regions. Technology Stack that we use: Programming languages: Java, Javascript, Angular JS, Omnimark. Markup languages & related technologies: XML, XML Schema, DTD, XSLT, XSL- FO, HTML, CSS Webservers: Apache Tomcat, Microsoft IIS Build and Configuration Management Tools: Apache Ant, Maven, Subversion XML editors: Epic, Xmetal What we are looking for: Solution oriented professionals who are able to work independently on tickets assigned. Knowledge of software maintenance best practices. ITIL exposure would be a plus. Willingness to work on and learn new technologies / software concepts. Solid understanding of XML concepts. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Exposure to the aviation / e- publishing industries would be a big plus! Learn and use Flatiron s development tools, processes, methodologies and best practices. Contribute to support documentation. ,
