Job Description

The candidate must be Strong in Scala development with Web Services and API integration to work on graph DatabaseApache Jena. Exposure to RDF, OWB ontology, Triple storage and SPARQL. Good to have work experience on large scale complex enterprise applications using Scala, Web services , Streaming, akka, Spark, Hive, sqoop across all phases of SDLC and relish the challenge of refreshing updating supporting our technology and architecture. Good experience or adoptability on Emerging technologies like Python

Responsibilities

  • Understand the business requirement and perform gap analysis
  • Provide technical solutions and develop graph based Triple storage model using OWB ontology.
  • Provide technical solution for bulk and real-time data ingestion from graph database using scala, streaming and other API s
  • Develop Data quality rules and verify data integrity
  • Schedule the jobs through Autosys and troubleshoot HadoopCloudera based operational logs
  • Develop optimized modularized, reusable code and deploy though CICD pipe line
  • Debugging of Code effective log management
  • Prepare unit test case and run through Scala Unit Test
  • Refractor existing code to enhance readability, performance and general structure
  • Strong Hive, SQOOP, Spark experience and write complex SQL queries.
  • Provide assistance to testing team, where necessary to aid in testing and test case creation
  • Provide guidance to team developers with design, implementation and completion
  • Follow the agile methodology

Requirements

  • Education: B.E. B. TechM.E.M. TechMSCMCA (prefer ITCS specialization)
  • Certifications If Any:
  • Experience Range: 2 - 4 yrs

    • Mandatory Skill:

    • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
    • 2-4 years Java development experience
    • Strong experience on Scala, Java, Hadoop, Sqoop, Hive, Spark and Streaming
    • Good to have experience on graph database, rdf
    • JDBC SQL Programming
    • JSON,XMLXSL
    • Eclipse IDE, IntelliJ
    • SBT, Autosys, Bitbucket, Jenkins
    • Must be detailed oriented and a quick learner
    • Have strong communication skills both verbal and written
    • Able to work independently as well as with teams in a proactive manor

    Primary Technical Skills

    • Operating System : UNIX Windows
    • Programming : Java J2EE PythonHTMLJavaScript
    • Database : RDBMS
