Your future duties and responsibilities:
A GW developer is expected to carry out the following Requirement Elicitation Prepare Design documents. Activity Diagram, Class diagram, Sequence Diagram using UML Write Pseudo code Plug-in Implementation in Java and Gosu Write event fired rules Implement batch process both internal and external to Guidewire platform Consume and expose web services, Listen to JMS queues Prepare UTC and perform unit testing. Perform peer review
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:Looking for a GW Developer for Guidewire ClaimCenter/PolicyCenter, with solid 4-7 years of overall experience in which 4-5 years of hands on experience on the CC/PC product and other GW products. Candidate needs to work on GWP initiatives and guide/mentor the team technically in the right direction. He/she needs to be having client facing exposure and good in communication; Extensive experience on the following is required Previous experience associated with the design, development, modification and deployment of GW products, Guidewire product knowledge - PolicyCenter/ ClaimCenter Guidewire Product Architecture Insurance Domain Knowledge (PC Insurance) Guidewire Datamodel Guidewire data conversions in anyone of Guidewire products(ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) Oracle PLSQL SQL Server TSQL Java WebServices, Spring Batch, Data mapping, cleansing and transformations Data Reconciliation Planning Estimation Agile development methodology/Scrum Master Should be able to lead the team from front; Education: Computer Science (BE / BTech / MTech / MS) from Tier I Premier institutes
