Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent will work directly with onshore and offshore teams, will be responsible for design, delivery of business solutions and lead a team of java developers, in a fast- paced and challenging environment.Use Java programming language and related software development technologies, like Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) , JavaServer Pages (JSP) / Servlets or JavaServer Faces (JSF) Serve as technical expert on code developed for the business functionsParticipate in the development life cycle, including design, development, system integrated testing, QA and production supportSupport, maintain and document software functionalityAnalyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs, as neededSpecific knowledge, skills and abilitiesEducation: BE./ EquivalentSun Certification will be an added advantageMinimum Professional Job RequirementsOne to three years experience in Java developmentAble to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, tools and softwareExcellent written and verbal communications skillsAble to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyMinimum Technical RequirementsStrong Java/ J2EE development experience Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.JDBC concepts (connection pooling, statement, result set) Web Technologies (Struts/ Struts 2, Spring (IOP, MVC, AOP) , Hibernate, JSP, Web services) Database optimization and profilingExperience in developing web applications using at least one popular web frameworkGood hands on experience with RDBMS like MySQL/ Oracle with ability to write SQL Queries/ Stored Procedures/ Triggers/ Joins/ View etcParticipate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirementsConsult with end- users to prototype, refine, test and debug programs to meet needs,
