Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Freshworks, you will work alongside multi-disciplinary teams to build and scale products. Your role will involve establishing and driving engineering standards, owning and solving challenging problems, and providing guidance and mentorship to young engineers. You will play a key role in driving innovation and maintaining high engineering standards within the organization.Key Responsibilities:- Understand, own, and deliver the Engineering Roadmap for your teams- Design and deliver elegant solutions to complex engineering problems as a software architect- Design, architect, and build large-scale distributed, data-intensive & resilient systems- Manage other architects and provide expertise in SQL & No-SQL datastores- Bring technology innovation to the organization and guide early decisions for accelerated execution- Build B2B Multi-tenant SaaS products on the cloud with domain expertise in cloud technologies, preferably AWS- Provide end-to-end software engineering experience and assist during outages and production issues- Lead in-depth knowledge on Microservices or Component-based Architecture- Maintain high coding standards and mentor young engineers in writing maintainable software- Stay updated with technological advancements and align them with internal needs- Work with cross-functional teams for critical projects and troubleshoot production issues- Bring a customer focus to all engineering design and implementationQualifications Required:- Bachelors Degree in technical field OR equivalent work experience- Minimum of 13 years of relevant professional experience- Minimum of 13 years of software development experience in an individual contributor role- Experience in commercial software product development environment- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and ability to learn new technologies- Experience in building and maintaining software for scale- Strong communication skills, both spoken and written- Record of bringing significant value as an individual contributor(Note: Additional details of the company were not provided in the job description.),
