This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The role of the Technical Manager is to:Excellent attention to details and passionate about problem solvingAbility to multi-task and engage productively on multiple projects simultaneouslyMust be team player who works with technical and non-technical resourcesAbility to deal with difficult situations through strong teamwork and a focus on resolutionsAbility to learn new technologies and new functionsShould have excellent motivation, communication (oral & written), facilitating and inter-personal skillsMinimum 8 years of hands-on experience with Java/J2EE related technologiesMust have strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot with micro service experienceStrong integration work experience with JMS systems using MQ & Web servicesDevelopment experience with XML, JSON and Restful servicesExperience with database development & design including experience with PostgresQL or CassandraDemonstrate expertise with micro services design patterns including application integration patternsShould have worked in Agile environmentsShould have expertise in SCM and build tools like GIT, Maven, ANTExposure to CI & CD tools like JenkinsExposure to Docker with Kubernetes or OpenShift is plusKey Roles & Responsibilities:Serve as member of Scrum development team to deliver technology solutions in Agile fashion including, but not limited to, spring planning, complexity analysis, stand-up and retrospective meetingsAbility to design and develop applications with strong focus on performance and security for the applicationAnalyze, design, develop, code, write test cases for automated testing and document programming to satisfy business requirements for large & complex projectsDesign technical architecture for new applications and changes to existing applications including class diagrams/object modelling, data modelling and system interfacesShould able to drive design and implementing modern design patternsShould able assess the risk and adopt risk migration methodsAdhere to group standards, risk management and security policiesTranslate functional specifications into technical specificationsPerform application development build tasks and perform application coding using J2EE & RDBMS technologies along with select vendor applicationsResponsibility conduct performance tests and fix application performance related issuesUnderstand how products & key technologies interface with each other and fit with strategy and business needsProvide technology thought leadership to the team and help in building internal capabilityBe accountable for all technical issues related to applicationResponsible for Schema Design, indexing strategy for performance and scalabilityMentor / Guide junior developers and ensure team is able to consistently deliver outcomesDevelop high complex code/frameworks as per quality bench marksConstantly endeavour to improve the code quality and the process within teamsWork with technical / solution /enterprise architects in defining product roadmapsCommunicate timely build status on development items delivery managers, as well as raise/work to resolve issues impacting developmentKey Skills & Qualification:Core Java 1.8, J2EE 1.7, Java XML ParsingSpring framework , Spring Boot 1.5 & above, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration and Spring Batch with good expertise on microservices architectureElastic - Logstash - Kibana (ELK)HazelcastKafka and Kafka SteamsPostgresql, CassandraDevops (CI/CD) using GIT, Maven, ANTJUnit / Mockito / Arquillian / Spock Framework / /CucumberDockers / Kubernetes / OpenshiftIn-depth hands-on experience in development, design and architecting J2EE and microservices based applications, able write SQL queries, interface connectivity protocols like webservices, JMS and experience in creating test cases using various testing frameworks, knowledge of building automated Jenkins pipelines and deploying microservices in containers.Experience and in-depth understanding in a payments products design/development as technical lead role in a financial institution, ecommerce or online environment.Experience and good knowledge on payment products like crossborder TT, RTGS,ACH & FAST payments and message types MT, ISO20022.Strong analytical skills and able to assess multiple systems for troubleshooting. Good problem solving skillsAbility to write well and experienced at writing various technical documents (i.e. design document specifications, presentations and reports).Excellent communications skills, confidence and ability to work with an international team in a cross-cultural and geographically dispersed workplace. Should possess qualities that would be useful in multiple stakeholder management.Motivated, able to work independently, proactively and efficiently in a fast paced and changing environment.Passionate about Banking Business..,
