Job Description

    What you will do
    • Help others, learn new things, and share experiences.
    • Build and create open source solutions, prove they work, and share your experience with regular releases of blogs, videos, podcasts, etc. and promotion via various social media platforms.
    • Understand how open source communities work, and have demonstrated the ability to contribute to and assist in various open source projects and events.
    • Build, test, release, and maintain demoable solutions and self-service labs from a wide variety of IT domains that utilize the various Ansible open source tools and components.
    • Become a trusted technical voice of the Ansible automation community. One that can represent the community as a whole, contribute to the community strategy, and help execute against short and long-term plans.
    • Is comfortable with the unknown: working with diverse bleeding-edge technologies often without a lot of guidance or documentation.
    What you will bring
    • Be kind, be open, be curious, and be accountable.
    • Understand how modern DevOps practices work (GitHub and CI/CD tooling etc.)
    • Write and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks and roles
    • Knowledge of open source projects, development processes, software engineering methodologies
    • Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation is a plus
    • Knowledge of traditional networking, infrastructure and public clouds (AWS, Azure) is a plus
    This may be a remote role although the hiring manager resides in Raleigh-Durham, NC, USA. Successful applicants must reside in a country where Red Hat is registered to do business.,
