Has an unsurpassed technical writing ability. Does clear, concise, and grammatically correct content flow from your fingers tips Has in- depth knowledge of the layout, content, and customer standards for technical publications. Has the ability to read and understand engineering drawings and change orders. Does Configuration Management (CM) including revision control mean anything to you Requirements: Associates degree in technical/ electronics, or equivalent years of experience/ training. Minimum of 6- 8yrs of experience with technical publications. Experience with the ATA 100 and/ or 2200 specifications, SGML, XML and/ or recent Interleaf, or FrameMaker preferred, but not required. Experience in S1000D preferred. Must be familiar with the aerospace, commercial, and/ or military technical publications and specifications. Component Maintenance Manuals are the primary document type you will author or revise in conformance with ATA or S1000D standards. Communicate (effectively) with subject matter experts, graphic illustrators, editors, other writers, and management. Although at times you will need to work autonomously, it takes a team effort to be successful.,
