Job Description

The role will be responsible the analysis, design, development and support of the FreshService platform.

  • 4 years experience working in Service Now preferably
  • 5+ years experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML
  • Familiar with SAML authentication and integration with ServiceNow
  • Familiar with Service Oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST, API s)
  • Experience creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and evolving customer requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Experiencing in implementing and maintain Discovery and CMDB
  • Familiar with UI/UX concepts
Service Management Project
  • Customize Freshworks / Servicenow application and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules.
  • Collaborate with process owners to develop solutions and handle project work.
  • Participate in new technology investigation and make recommendations for new technology adoption where appropriate.
  • Provide design solution and timelines on development.
  • Develop and maintain design documents.
Application Continuous Improvement
  • Collaborate with process owners to develop solutions and handle enhancements through the Agile methodology.
  • Maintains enhancement release plans.
  • Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, and tools
  • Responsible for maintaining currency in technological trends and directions continually upgrading personal technical and IT related skills through research, education and
self-motivated technology experimentation.
  • Supports annual upgrades though issue resolutions
Application Management
  • Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions
  • Ensure proper environment management process is being followed.
  • Ensure proper scripting standards are being met
  • Participate in ongoing production support and end user support.
  • Participate in change management process for any system changes or enhancements.
  • Open incidents with vendors and drive issues to closure.
  • Writes technical and functional specifications
  • Performs estimation for application development initiatives.
