Job Description

We are looking for individuals that have the ability to think laterally and possess a sound understanding of engineering principles. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and will be able to build and develop relationships, both internally and externally. Candidates should hold or be expected to achieve a degree classification of 2.1 or above at M Eng level in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and have achieved Grade B or above in both Maths and Physics A-Levels (or equivalent).JOB responsibilities vary greatly according to applicants specialization. However, duties typically include

  • 1)Complete maintenance work orders from all departments on a timely basis by following hotels standard operating procedures.2)Perform day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance within the hotel rooms and public areas.3)Respond promptly and efficiently to any maintenance calls that arise either by the guest or other departments.4)Respond courteously to guest requests promptly and resolve matters to the guests satisfaction.5)Able to prioritise the maintenance issues e.g.: to attend the breakdown of plant and machinery on priority.6)Perform maintenance activities in the guest rooms and public areas including electrical equipment, plumbing and Air conditioning7)Program TVs and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties.Manage and support engineering technicians group to reach established goals.Maintain employees technical competence and strive for excellent customer service.Support facilities engineering and technically assist plant in areas of installation, startup, repair, training and modification on power transmission.Manage and assist distribution and generation equipment and systems performance.
