Job Description

    Job Title: Site EngineerLocation: ChennaiSalary: 18,000 per monthExperience: 0-2 yearsThe Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing site work activities, ensuring efficient execution of projects within designated timelines and budgets. The role involves close coordination with project stakeholders and adherence to quality and safety standards.Responsibilities: Execution of Site Work: Lead and supervise site activities including construction, installation, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Measurement Preparation: Prepare accurate measurements and as-billed drawings for project documentation and billing purposes. Manpower and Material Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment, to meet project requirements and deadlines. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with customers, project managers, consultants, and architects to. address queries, provide progress updates, and resolve issues on time. Inspection and Risk Management: Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential risks, defects, or deviations from project plans, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel to project sites as necessary to oversee operations and ensure project success.Requirements Educational Background: Minimum degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field. Experience: At least 6 months of practical experience in a similar role, preferably in commercial or institutional building projects related to HVAC systems. HVAC Knowledge: Excellent understanding of air-conditioning systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office applications and AutoCAD software for project documentation and design tasks. Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
