The ideal candidate is an individual with strong experience and awareness of the payments industry trends, with an knowledge on design principles and building apps that are intuitive and user-friendly. Business acumen, hands-on technology skills, positive work ethic and a collaborative mindset are key to the success of this role.Key Responsibilities:Demonstrate a customer centric mindset as part of day-day work.Be a hands-on individual contributor, who can design solutions, code them, as well as review the deliverables of other team members.Work closely with our product and design teams to customize the PayPal experiences for iOSDrive technical designs to consensus and approval as a leader within PayPal s cross-functional technology team.As a software engineer should put customer first as part of day-day work.Ensure that the design and implementation adhere to defined specs and processes.Collaboratively work with cross-functional teams across the globe.Own end-to-end quality of deliverables during all phases of the software development lifecycle.Understand the payments business and how technology decisions impact the business. Sense evolving business trends and translate them into needs into technology solves.Technical CraftsmanshipBuilt high traffic Mobile experiences, and service-oriented Apps using iOS TechnologiesExperience in refactoring existing code base and in understanding existing implementations to decide to refactor or rewrite.Focus on quality and ensure responsiveness of apps developed.Experience mobile development frameworks, multi-threading , memory management and caching mechanisms.Experience designing systems spanning multiple domains and functions.Technical Hands-on SkillsStrong programming skills and expertise in iOS development.Solid understanding of the iOS Development life cycle & APIsProven experience in developing and publishing interactive AppsStrong programming skills on both Objective-C and SwiftProficiency in developing frameworks and SDKsKnowledge of dependency management tools like CocoaPodsKnowledge of UI design using Storyboards & XIBKnowledge of unit/function/system testing tools such as XCtest, Cucumber, AppiumKnowledge of SCM & CI tools such as Git, Jenkins/HudsonExperience with agile methodology is preferredExperience working with databases such as MySQL/ Oracle etc.Educational QualificationsBSCS or equivalent + 3 years of experience / MSCS + 2 years of experience in software development,
