Building new Cloud Applications
Responsible for data modeling and database design
Define master data strategy and data governance
Responsible for query tuning, profiling and maintaining the database
Interacting with team members to ensure smooth progress of the project work
Ensuring customer delivery and adherence to quality norms throughout the implementation process.
Gather requirements and create technical specifications as needed
Be comfortable working with source control branching strategies
Working in high - velocity, agile team
Requirements:Experience with at least one Cloud platform: AWS, Azure, Google etc. AWS is preferred.
Hands - on experience with Java or Node.js
Experience with AWS RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB services a plus
Experience with AWS RDS Database Administration a plus
Experience with at least one of the RDBMS databases - PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle etc.
Experience with any of the NoSQL database - DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra etc.
Experience in Domain Driven Design, Microservices based architecture
Must be comfortable working on the Unix/Linux shell command line
Demonstrate the ability to reduce complex ideas and problems into clear concepts and solutions
Good knowledge on SQL & PL/SQL
Exposure to Database Migration
Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required, with graduate degree preferred
Around 5 years of overall relevant experience
Hands - on understanding of scalability, security, high availability and operational requirements
