Identify clarify Project and Customer needs related to his Software Product, with the support of Software Project Team and System PTL.
Create and maintain, with the support of Software Project Team :
o The Software Development Plan (SDP)
o The Software Configuration Management Plan (SCMP)
o The Software Requirement Management Plan (SRMP)
o The Software Configuration Management and Maturity Dashboard (SCMMD)
o The Software Single List of Issues and Risks (SSLIR)
o The Software Release Plan
Estimate and plan the Software Development according to costs, resources and deadlines constraints, based on information provided by the Software Project Team, and applying Valeo standard estimation methods.
Track the progress of the Software Development and update the schedule accordingly.
Identify and manage the risks to mitigate the impacts on Software Development.
Identify drifts, propose solutions to solve them, get the agreement of the system PTL and deploy them, or propose Change Requests, get the agreement of the System PTL and deploy them.
Manage periodic and on-demand Change Control Board meeting (CCB) to estimate the impact of problem reports and change requests on the Software Requirements and to allocate each requirement to a Software Release.
Report SW development progress to the system PTL periodically
Lead daily Software Project meeting with the Software Project Team
Lead weekly Software Project progress meeting with the Software Project Team
Lead monthly Software Project progress meeting with Software M tier managers
Plan and Lead the Technical Reviews SDP_Init/Light, SDP_Full, SW_EndDev and SW_Indus.
Review and accept the Software Verification Validation Strategy.
Review and accept the Software Requirements Specification.
Review and accept the Software Architecture Document.
Review the Software Integration Test Report and accept Software Release candidate for Software Validation, with the Software Technical Leader and the Software Test Leader.
Review the Software Validation Test Report.
Ensure the application of the Valeo standard Software Development processes, with the help of the Software Process Contributor and of the Software Quality Assurance Contributor.
Ensure the quality of the Software Product under the control of the Software Quality Assurance Contributor.
Check the conformity of each Software Release to the Valeo standard Software Release checklist.
Approve the Software Release, with the Software Technical Leader and the Software Test Leader.
Deliver the Software Release Note and the Software package of each Software release.
Participate to the know-how capitalization (RAISE, standardization, improvement proposals)
Train and coach SW Project Team members
Respect Valeo general objectives as service ratio, 5S, daily monthly meetings
Integrate CIP, CLEAN, QRQC, LLC mindset
Participate to Software Department meetings
In the frame of the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications, commit to Safety and Environmental issues
