Job Description

    Job DescriptionProvide advisory and technical consulting across all initiatives including product evaluations, security, architecture assessments, integration considerations, etc. Define optimum architecture solution/s across a variety of engagements like experimentation, proof of concepts and production deployments for FCSD area ensuring reuse and alignment to Ford standards and global value delivery framework You will need to have the technical acumen and high desire to work in this value stream alongside with peers & Product team members to deliver a full range of architectural services.ResponsibilitiesProvide solution architecture consultation working closely with the product teams and appropriate members within architecture team across regions and domains.Lead architecture discussions related to the development of assigned products / platforms across all stages from ideation, design, development, deployment and maintenance.Guide development standards and design. patterns for mobile app and micro-services development/SOA.Support product team with technical assessments of internal & external platforms & tools covering: Service interoperability and access, Infrastructure, Scalability, Security & Data Handling, Licensing, Global footprint, etc.Establish strong working relationship with leadership, provide architectural guidance in support of new business opportunities and integration across skill teams and stakeholders (internal and external).Collaborates with all stakeholders to develop, maintain and/or review current and future state Enterprise Architecture Standards, Guidelines, Blueprints and Roadmaps; Provide input and guidance to support architecture governance.Leads / Collaborate with teams in analysis and identification of issues when the architecture does not meet requirements (e.g. performance, scalability, data design, integration testing, audit compliance, information failure mode analysis); Works with project teams to assess the cost, risk and business value of architecture alternatives.Support teams in application architecture design and review low level design to meet business goals.QualificationsRecent 2-3 years work experience as an Enterprise / Solution Architect Strong Object-Oriented development background in Java frameworks & patterns Good experience on, Cloud Architecture (GCP, PCF, CaaS) especially GCP (Google Cloud Platform), messaging middleware, API gateways (like APIGEE) and related migrations Good experience on web and mobile development- including NodeJS, ReactJS, Angular and Springboot. Knowledge / development experience on multiple technologies and patterns, related architecture: cloud hosting, APIs/micro services and interaction with on-prem databases. Knowledge or development CI/CD techniques and tooling TOGAF certification is a value add Experience with or knowledge of After Sales Service - business processes,
