Job Description

  • Increasing the price competitiveness of the category by buying in line with the commodity price indices and competitor bench marking data available.
  • Set guidelines to ensure unambiguous quality specifications for all products in the portfolio
  • Develop shopper insights through market survey for each location of store
  • To ensure technical training to Store teams as and when required
  • Plan and manage monthly vendor meeting schedules
  • Ensure timely recovery of margins / timely payments to vendors
  • Understand global/international category trends and ensure category strategies reflect the relevant trends
