This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.Department Overview:Liquidity Centre of Expertise (CoE) is a 100+ strong team under Global Finance Operations and Transformation, focussing on SCB wide Balance Sheet Information Management, Reporting and Decision Support / Analytics. This includes Liquidity reporting under Basel III guidelines, Management Information, decision support and other analytics for Asset-Liability Management of the bank.This function is also strongly governed by the Data Quality governance and compliance regulations under BCBS239 and hence supported through an integrated technology infrastructure with various stages of operational and data quality assurance, validations and reconciliation functions embedded in the end-to-end process.Domain rich teams work in a collaborative environment to provide group-wide reports and analysis cutting across several dimensions for both internal as well as external regulatory reporting. The Data Quality Management and Operational Reconciliation functions ensure accuracy of reporting. The change governance function along with the operations teams provide expert impact analysis and support for rolling out system enhancements and changes into the integrated Liquidity Risk and Reporting Infrastructure.Liquidity CoE team interacts with several stakeholders on a day-to-day basis within the bank that include Business, Finance, Group Regulatory Reporting function, Group and Regional Treasury including ALM and Short term & structural liquidity teams and Technology. This team provides services covering all client segments of SCB across all 50+ countries, through a centralized and standardized delivery model under Global Process Management framework.Job Purpose:Analyst / Senior Analyst is responsible for the delivery of committed Liquidity Information Management deliverables, adhering to SLA, operating instructions and quality requirements. The role is also responsible for providing insightful analysis and commentaries on the underlying movements.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform activities and tasks assigned relating to Funds Transfer Pricing, Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk Information Management processes on a day-to-day basis working within teams to produce analysis and reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • Develop subject matter expertise around FTP, Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk Information Management
  • Deliver insightful analytics on Balance sheet KPI movements and provide decision support as needed
  • Ensure timely delivery of tasks/activities relating to Liquidity / Interest Rate Risk metrics and Ratios and all other internal and external reporting & Information Management requirements within the Basel I, II and III framework
  • Comply with the laid down process steps, bank s data quality and reporting standards, Operating Instructions and other manuals
  • Actively participate and contribute in all ongoing knowledge management initiatives to develop functional content in the areas of FTP, Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk Information Management framework
  • Ensure all queries for submitted reports are reverted within timelines
  • Participate in systems and process change initiatives
  • Should be able to adapt to the changes and quickly align with the new processes, operating models and other technology changes
  • Work towards continuous improvement to identify and implement opportunities to decrease process turn-around time and improve productivity
  • Work with different stakeholders to continuously improve process controls and efficiency of delivery of services
Our Ideal CandidateQualifications and skills:Essential
  • Finance Professionals (Chartered Accountant) or Under-Graduation in Engineering + MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good understanding of banking products / Operations
  • 0 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Any other Professional certification like FRM or CFA will be an added advantage
Desirable
  • Domain skills on Funds Transfer Pricing, Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk Management and Reporting, Basel III guidelines, Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), Additional Liquidity Monitoring metrics (ALMM), Intra-day Liquidity reporting (IDL), Asset & Liability Management
