Job Description

    *Business Function As a leader in treasury operations, DBS extends a broad range of capabilities in foreign exchange and derivatives, money market and securities trading, to corporations and financial institutions. DBS trades in a comprehensive product range, including foreign exchange, as well as interest rates and derivatives. Treasury & Markets (T&M) provides total solutions to serve DBS clients hedging and investment needs with a regional emphasis. We have a strong record in providing innovative wealth management solutions to our individual investors. We are a leader in SGD and regional products with an excellent, customer-driven research capability and with cutting-edge risk management technology and systems. Job Purpose To build sustainable T&M revenues & client relationships by leveraging eLVB branch network & offering innovative / timely treasury solutions to customers. Key Accountabilities
    1. Build a T&M franchise by leveraging on the eLVB branch network
    2. Deliver on the eLVB sales budget and converge with the DBIL budget
    3. Establish strong & sustainable business processes for acquisition and servicing of T&M clients.
    4. Collaboration with internal stakeholders (viz. Branches, IBG, GTS) and ensure execution against set objectives of achieving derivatives budgets
    5. Build a customer first culture and deliver DBS RED Asian Service Standards to meet and exceed internal & external customer expectations
    6. Adherence to all internal and external regulations (viz. Audit, regulatory, cross border sales and marketing policy)
    Job Duties & responsibilities
    1. Collaborate with IBG, NDS, GTS and LVB Branches to setup client acquisition and servicing processes
    2. Train RMs/ Branches in LVB network to sell T&M products
    3. Increase our wallet size within a customer s treasury portfolio
    4. Meet NTB targets using T&M product capabilities
    5. Ensure that the existing bank clients are adequately explored for T&M opportunities
    6. Develop new products and trade ideas depending upon client need so as to improvise our Treasury positioning
    1. Responsible for handling daily Fx transactions for IBG & CBG clients. Quoting and booking Fx cash, spot and forward Fx deals.
    1. Increase customer engagement and enhance DBS Brand through events / presentations/ roadshows
    Required Experience 10+ years of Corporate treasury sales experience Education / Preferred Qualifications Post graduation, preferably a CA/ MBAExposure to financial markets Core Competencies Good understanding of Financial markets, FX/Interest rate/commodity hedging products.Analytical mind, strong with numbers, relationship & solution driven. Technical Competencies Structuring & Pricing of treasury productsExpertise in MS office Work Relationship Team player & Strong Communicator Established client relationships in local market (South) will be a key differentiator Demonstrates strong working relationship across departments and drive cross functional collaborationExpertise in handling clients in IBG 4 segment,
