Job Description

Work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards.What you will be doing:

  • Analyze the Abends and provide directions to the Ops team .Fix any down jobs due to the data issues
  • Coordinate with other support groups like DBA, Windows Admin, Network support for any issues related to these items. Identification of Bug and Workaround
  • Participate in the incident management calls and Reprocessing support
  • Permanent bug fixes by doing the root cause analysis and the Code change
  • Abend analysis regular analysis of the recurring issues and propose for the permanent fix as code change
  • Any emergency fix required in the production by validating the change with the development team
What you bring:
  • 3 to 5 Years of experience in SQL Support role
  • Expert in SQL support - SQL Queries, Tables, SSRS, SSIS
  • Exposure to Windows/Unix server troubleshooting (Servers, services, etc)
  • Troubleshoot API related issues
  • Flexible to work in shifts (24/7 support)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
Added bonus if you have:
  • Aware of monitoring tools like Splunk, Zabbix, etc
  • Worked in Banking/Financial domain
  • Knowledge of FIS products and services
  • Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
  • Knowledge of financial services industry
