Following established written procedures , guidelines and techniques , develops , enhances , tests , supports , maintains , and debugs software applications that support business units or support functions. Individual contributor role; fully competent to work under general direction on the most complex projects , often on multiple phases , and seeks guidance and direction from more senior associates or manager , as needed. Working knowledge of business or function for which application is designed. Often responsible for the completion of a phase of a project. Provides guidance and checks the work of less experienced associates.ResponsibilitiesKey individual contributor to Quality Assurance Project teams. Works with project teams to ensure standard quality practices / processes are followed. Performs Functional , SIT / End - to - end testing on applications and technology , to ensure business , technical , functional requirements are being met throughout the SDLC. Designs and Executes test scripts based upon test strategy / plans in an effort to identify defects prior to production. May also include Production Certification which requires manual / automated scripts be executed to certify production health and / or identify post - production defects.RequirementsEducation: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering Certifications If Any: Experience Range: 6 to 8 years Mandatory skills Must have background in testing front office applications and understanding of Equity Portfolio Trading business. Need minimum 6 or more years of experience in QA Functional testing Managing and maintaining testing - related documentation , including test plans Working experience with UNIX Environment Excellent communication skills and able to collaborate with clients , development team , and other partners to understand the requirements Desired skills Testing automation experience using Cucumber & Java Knowledge and working experience on Agile testing Methodology ,
