Process Overview

The Counterparty Credit Risk technology team is responsible for supporting legacy CCR applications and developing target state applications for Counterparty Credit Risk Analytics.

The Credit Studio Sparck platform consists of a number of automated batch processes that the Bank s single platform for internal credit analysis, Basel compliant regulatory reporting, and economic capital reporting. The credit batch runs a number of processes on a daily basis. These processes source data, perform exposure calculations at the trade level and aggregate data to the counterparty level. The credit batch has been automated through the use of Autosys, a scheduling tool. The purpose of the application is to calculate Potential Exposure and Basel Exposures using Monte Carlo simulation for Limit Management and Capital calculations.

Job Description

This role will be part of the RFT Counterparty Credit Risk team responsible for development and support to the CCR applications like Credit Studio CARAT.

The candidate will be expected to work with multiple stakeholders like the Global development team, business analysts, production support teams, environment management team, quality assurance teams, DBAs, SAs in the process working on legacy and target state platforms and being able to troubleshoot application issues and also successful releases of enhancements to the platform.

Responsibilities

• Work as a developer for enhancements to Counterparty Credit Risk business applications using Java, J2EE technologies, Python and databases like Sybase SQL Server
• Being able to troubleshoot and suggest solutions to issues in production scenarios
• JavaPython coding best practices.
• Write Unit test cases ensuring atleast 80% coverage for all new code
• Efficient L3L4 Support during off US hours.
• Support releases from India.

• Requirements

  • Education: BEBTech from premier institutes
  • Certifications If Any: JavaJ2EE certification
  • Experience Range: 3 - 7 yrs
  • Mandatory skills: Java, J2EE, Python, SybaseSQL Server, UNIX
  • Desired skills: Good understanding of JavaJ2EEPython coding, Database programming, working knowledge of UNIX, knowledge of web application development. Knowledge of Banking and Finance domain will be a big advantage.
