Position Description Overview 4+ years of experience in designing and deploying enterprise-level business or technical applications in Oracle and JAVA environment. Strong development/technical skills in Oracle SQL and PLSQL in Exadata platform. Understanding and development skill in ETL. Oracle 18c experience is an added advantage. Must have experience in UNIX, Shell script Hands-on experience server side tools like SQLLDR, External table, Exchange partition Experience in scheduling tools like CA7, DBMS_Scheduler, DBMS_Jobs, Cron Jobs and Java Batch Jobs. Understanding database primary key, referential integrity, Constraints are must. Strong Knowledge on Stored Procedure, Package, Trigger and Function Hands on experience on Database collections, PLSQL table Experience in Java, Python scripting will be added advantage 1-2 years of Agile development experience is a plus Strong problem solving skills in troubleshooting for Production issues is required Exposure to Test Driven Development (TDD) is a plus. Experience with financial and payment card industry with exposure to security is a plus Job Responsibilities - Responsible for coding, programming, testing, and analyzing application software. Supports existing business systems applications. Consults with business analysts to identify business needs and appropriate technical solutions. Design and document moderately complex technical requirements for business applications. Performs additional job duties as required.Expert knowledge of one or more development language(s) and tool(s). Must be able to determine and document complex software or system functional specifications.Understands basic internal business processes or functions. Consults with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications. Designs and develops computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on user defined requirements. Writes code, programs, tests, and analyzes new application software. Negotiates with vendors to determine price and technical functionality. Formulates management policies for user rights and security. Advise IT management about IT issues within the Company. Performs additional job duties as required. Scope of Job Works on moderately complex projects with a high breadth of responsibility. Participates in far-reaching research projects, making important decisions. Provides technical coaching to business functions and lower level programmers on moderately complex issues.,
