Job Description

Then you are the Sr. Designer (Tekla) that we are looking for!

Your responsibilities

  • Prepare 3D model using Tekla.
  • Work independently and/or in consultation with an engineer on detailed and assembly
  • Design and calculate structures/systems.
  • Prepare construction drawings of structures designed by the engineer.
  • Draft specifications.
  • Monitor planning, scope, budget and schedule of requirements.
  • Make material and/or component choices independently.
  • Check design details in combination with a site visit.
  • Prepare estimates.
  • Supervise draughtsmen, (junior) draughtsmen designers and (junior) designers.
  • Liaise with clients and third parties.
  • Check and monitor the quality of (his own) drawings and design.
  • Report to the Discipline Engineer within the discipline and to the project leader/manager within the project.
  • Implement TRAs for Health, Safety and Environment relevant to the job.

Your profile

  • BSc degree with approximately 4 years of experience
  • Intermediate education with approximately 10 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Autocad & Tekla is a must.
  • Experience in Offshore (e.g. FPSO topside development) is preferred.
  • Command of Dutch and/ or English both written and spoken.
