Job Description

We are looking for Sr. Engineer / AM Sales (Application Engineering Background), Auto Parts Mfg. MNC in Chennai .Job Purpose:Focus on Growth Opportunity and Make plans to ensure the projected growth.Role: Handling Sales to Auto OEMs/ Tier 1/II supplier of OEMsKey Responsibilities:

  • Handling Sales to Auto OEMs/ Tier 1/II supplier of OEMs. Application Engineering background
  • Technically support to sales team with NPD
  • Prospecting for new potential clients for company products
  • Application Engineering & product Knowledge.
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • Understand application of the component and suggest suitable assembly procedure
  • Assembly trials for product approvals
  • Handling Sales Activities for existing customers such as RFQs, Order Follow-up, Payment Collection, Sales Reporting
  • Monitoring sales as per the production plan & customer orders.
  • To enhance and handle the sales of the product
  • Responsible to handle the key customers & ensuring the supply of Product with in the time.
  • Material Recovery -Price Increase/ decrease
  • Customer Co-ordination and support activities
  • Preparing Costing of all parts as per the RFQ received for new business with the existing business to generate the maximum profit for the organization.

Education:
  • BTech/BE//Diploma ( Mechanical )
Experience:
  • Min 4 plus Tier 1 and Tier 2 (Automotive firm) / Automobile Manufacturing
Reporting:
  • Reports to - DM
  • Reportees - Trainee / Engineer /
  • Coordinates with - Design / Marketing / Quality / Operations / HR
