Job Description

    Job OverviewThe candidate is expected to support in Procurement activities, coordinate with vendors and internal and external stakeholders, and support for the development and implementation of our ERP system. Candidate should possess a strong understanding of procurement processes, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude towards ERP development and enhancement.KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in developing procurement strategies and plans based on project requirements and budgetary constraints.Generate purchase orders accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Prior knowledge of working with GFR Procurement norms would be an added advantage.Prepare and Maintain reports for ISO.Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery and maintain vendor database.Act as a key liaison between the purchase department and the IT vendor for. ERP development and implementation.KEY AUTHORITIES1. Responsibility for vendor evaluation and selection based on performance criteria.2. To negotiate terms and prices with vendors.3. To issue purchase orders within defined limits.JOB SPECIFICATIONSEducational Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles.Technical / Functional CompetenciesVendor Management: The skill of managing relationships with external vendors and service providers, including negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.Technology Proficiency: The ability to use and adapt to various technologies and software tools relevant to administrative tasks, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in the role.Customer Service Orientation: Focusing on meeting the needs and expectations of customers, whether internal or external, to ensure satisfaction and build positive relationships, and Improve customer service orientation gradually.Organizational Skills: The ability to efficiently arrange tasks, manage priorities, and maintain order in work processes to enhance productivity.
