    Sr Engineer-Trims Engineering CoEDate:11 Nov 2023Location:ChennaiCompany:Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Project delivery related to engineering and design from kick off to implementation.(QFD, benchmarking, feature analysis, engineering, drawing and model preparation and release, CAE and physical validation support, development and implementation support)Supporting engineering proposals preparation in consultation with COE / internal external expertsAssign job to team members according to skills and time availability.Organize and manage project activities and reviews with Cross Functional Team, system leads and COEProject planning and budgeting support Participate in core team meetings and discussions to understand and update project requirementDiscussions and technical reviews with suppliers and tool makersHR initiative support like recruitment, appraisal, training etc. Enhancing capability building of the teamAutomotive trims system design / engineering.Design for Service Assembly and Manufacturing.Selection of Materials for trimsSurface finish for trims - texture / colourAnalysis Concern resolution techniques for trims components.Geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
