  • Database administration tasks include ensuring Database availability, SQL monitoring and performance tuning, quarterly maintenance and upgrade operations, backup and recovery operations.
  • Performing day to day Oracle/PostgreSQL/Cassandra administration tasks and performing troubleshooting on the databases
  • Oracle RAC/Standalone installation, Upgrades, Database Patching
  • Troubleshooting of Performance related issues, SQL profiling, Query optimizations, Analyze AWR/ADDM/ASH reports
  • Supporting Production DB Deployment and Post deployment issues.
  • RDS Database activities. Monitoring/Applying Patches/DB upgrades/Replication Issues
  • AWS EC2 AMI Rehydration
  • Work on Space Reclamation activities to make the database leaner and meaner
  • Database migrations as part of Tech Refresh
  • Good Knowledge of Real Applications Clusters, Data Guard, Flashback technology, Recovery Manager, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
  • Create, maintain replication setup, troubleshoot and fix Data Guard/Golden Gate Issues
  • Knowledge in AWS/Cloud environments, DMS replication
  • Knowledge on AWS, PostgreSQL, Cassandra technologies
  • Supporting DR activities for Oracle, PostgreaSQL DB
  • Create/Update monitoring script to ensure Proactive monitoring and more availability on Production systems
  • Need to support CMDs and should be able to work on RCA.
  • Need to Support Load Test activities and be able to analyze db issues
What we re looking for.Youll need to have:
  • Bachelor s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Oracle 10g/11g/12c.
  • Experience in PosgreSQL DB administration.
  • Experience in Cloud migration from Oracle to AWS Postgre.
  • Experience in PL/SQL and SQL+.
  • Experience in Golden Gate Replication.
  • Experience in DMS Replication.
  • Experience in Backup and Recovery of Oracle database using RMAN.
  • Ability to perform day-to-day admin activities.
  • Writing monitoring jobs and managing it.
  • Knowledge on Oracle 11g R2/12c.
  • AWS Certified and Working knowledge in AWS/Cloud environment.
Even better if you have:
  • A degree.
  • Five or more years of experience in Oracle Database Administration with AWS certified professional.
  • Experience in Shell scripting.
  • Experience in DataGuard - Physical/logical.
  • Ability to perform Physical/Logical backups.
