Job Description

About this role:

Your primary focus will be to implement a complete user interface in the form of a mobile and desktop web application. You should be able to take care of performance optimization. Your main duties will include creating modules and components which you will help the back-end developers to integrate in Java / dotNET based applications. You will be provided with the design and other graphical assets from which you will create the HTML, add styles using SASS / SCSS, provide animations and develop the fully functional front end code. Your code need to communicate with API which will be provided by back-end developers using standard methods.

You are expected to understand the business and contribute innovations, best practices, market trends, technology updates.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver complete front end application.
  • Ensure high performance on mobile and desktop.
  • Perform code review and automate the tasks.
  • Write JavaScript, HTML and CSS as per the industry standards.
  • Coordinate with designers, developers and testers.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate and test the RESTful API.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings / scrum calls.
  • Participate in design walkthrough to understand the end-to-end flow of application.

You need to have:

  • Bachelor s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree or six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Eight or more years of experience in telecom domain that spans directly related to website/web application front end development.
  • Ability to be a creative, detail-oriented technologist with strong experience in web technologies (HTML, CSS and JavaScript).
  • Excellent knowledge with Call Center application, Data Visualization and Analytics Portal and Customer experience web applications.
  • Experience in current best practices and methodologies related to front end development.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to translate business needs into technical terms, strong conflict resolution, and problem solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Angularjs 1.x , Angular 2 above, HTML 5, CSS
  • Strong proficiency in React.js React.js, Redux workflows.
  • Proficiency in DOM manipulation, JavaScript Object model, Browser Object Model (BOM).
  • Experience in Node JS, Express and MongoDB covering the Full Stack Development stack.
  • Knowledge with newer specifications of ECMAScript.
  • Knowledge with RESTful API.
  • Experience with front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM etc.
  • Experience in using code versioning tools such as GIT, SVN etc.
  • Knowledge in PWA Service workers.
  • Experience in using browser developer tools.
  • Experience in responsive web design principles.
